Register your Grade 9 student for virtual Take Our Kids to Work Day - November 4
Each November, Grade 9 students across Canada spend a day in the life of a working professional as part of the annual career exploration event developed by . More than 250,000 students, 18,000 teachers and 75,000 organizations participate in this initiative each year.
On Wednesday, November 4, the university will host a virtual Take Our Kids to Work Day event on Google Meet from 9 a.m. to noon. Participants will hear about what Â鶹´«Ã½ University offers as an employer and the career paths that led many of our staff to the university.
Speakers include:
- Scott Barker, Director of Athletics
- Dr. Rupinder Brar, Associate Teaching Professor
- Jamie Bruno, Assistant Vice-President, Human Resources
- Melanie Hewitt, Manager, Assessment and Communications, Office of Student Life
- Brad MacIsaac, Assistant Vice-President, Planning and Analysis
Declan Frampton, Student Leadership Co-ordinator and Nikki Tomasi-Gunter, Mentorship Co-ordinator, Office of Student Life, will facilitate additional activities.
