FHSc researcher receives New Investigator Award from Hypertension Canada
recently recognized Dr. JoAnne Arcand, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Health Sciences (FHSc) with the 2020 Jacques de Champlain New Investigator Award.
The award recognizes excellence in the field of hypertension or blood pressure research by a new (early-career) investigator (within 12 years of initial appointment as an independent investigator). The recipient will have made significant contributions to the advancement and extension of knowledge in basic, clinical, health services or population-based research specifically relating to hypertension or blood pressure.
The award presentation will take place at Hypertension Canada’s virtual Annual General Meeting on Monday, November 16.
