FHSc researcher to give talk on dementia care and research – October 16 to 17
Dr. Wally Bartfay, Associate Professor, Faculty of Health Sciences (FHSc), together with Andra-Duff Woskowsky, Director, Geriatrics and Pharmacy, Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, will present at the virtual Canadian Academy of Geriatric Psychiatry (CAGP) Annual Scientific Meeting, taking place Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17. Dr. Bartfay and Woskowsky will describe the that led to the creation of the clinical demonstration unit for dementia care and research. They will also describe some of their major innovative clinical interventions (e.g. bright-light therapy, ), and future projects planned included reminiscence therapy and the use of artificial intelligence and assistive robots.
