Educational resources on Indigenous inclusion from the CCDI

In recognition of National Indigenous History month in Canada (June), the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) has prepared an educational resource guide on Indigenous inclusion that contains a number of resources that will help us celebrate Canada’s First Nations.

The Human Resources department also encourages faculty and staff to check out an app called Whose Land (available for free on and ). This web-based app assists users in identifying Indigenous Nations, territories, and Indigenous communities across Canada. The tool can help you:

  • Learn about the territory on which your home or business is situated.
  • Find information for a land acknowledgement.
  • Learn about the treaties and agreements signed across Canada.
