Mental health

  • During the COVID-19 pandemic, Canadians are facing isolation, financial and employment uncertainty and disruptions to daily life. This portal provides tools and resources to help Canadians get back on track, including modules for addressing low mood, worry, substance use, social isolation and relationship issues.

General health and wellness

  • Walking is one of best types of physical activity for seniors and people with limited mobility. But many older persons or those with injuries and other health conditions may have difficulty walking well enough to gain health benefits.   • During the COVID-19 pandemic, if you have a non-urgent health concern, you can connect to an on-call doctor by video or audio via the . Note: If you have a family physician, seek care from them first.
  • A beloved spring tradition, every year thousands of people visit High Park to catch a glimpse of the delicate pink flowers on Toronto’s Sakura (cherry blossom) trees. This year, High Park is closed for public safety reasons during peak bloom. To ensure no one misses the annual bloom, the City has planned multiple on a variety of social media platforms.

In recognition of Mental Health Week in Canada (May 4 to 10), Morneau Shepell has launched a new microsite, , to help bring awareness to this important aspect of total well-being.
