Celebrate Â鶹´«Ã½ Earth Week

Wednesday, April 22 will mark 50 years of Earth Day—but we should celebrate Earth Day every day!

The university’s Blue Team invites you to share what you’re doing to protect our Earth, and what you’re learning about sustainability. , take photos of the earth-friendly activities you participate in, and share them on social media. Don’t forget to tag @OT_GoGreen!

Note: This is an ongoing campaign, so remember to keep sharing throughout the year.

Activity ideas:

  • : Learn basic tips for planting a garden

  • Organize a Netflix party and watch a documentary. Here are a few suggestions: 
    • Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret
    • Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things
    • More than Honey
    • Planet Earth
    • The True Cost
  • Healthy Mind, Healthy Spaces, Healthy People: Share a photo of what makes you happy or share how you are staying healthy (your daily physical activity, nutrition tips, etc.) with friends and family.
