Join the Winter 2020 Book Club

The Book Club provides an opportunity for faculty and staff to engage in learning and professional development by:

  • Reading a book.
  • Getting together with colleagues to explore new ideas.
  • Networking with others.
  • Discussing the content of the book.
  • Creating an action plan to apply learning at work and in life.

Participants will meet three times as a group; attendance at all three sessions is essential. Sessions focus on discussion about the contents and themes of the book, sharing thoughts about how the ideas presented in the book may be applied within the university community.

This winter’s book is All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. Each person receives a personal copy of the book (theirs to keep), along with guided questions to consider for discussion with the larger group.

All sessions take place at Campus Corners, Room 2214, from 3 to 4 p.m. on:

  • Wednesday, March 11
  • Wednesday, April 1
  • Wednesday, April 22
