Help keep accessible furniture for students in assigned classrooms
As part of the university’s commitment to students with disabilities, ergonomic chairs and height adjustable desks have been installed in classrooms where they are required as part of a student’s accommodation plan. Unfortunately, some of these items have subsequently been moved and/or removed from learning spaces, leaving students without the supports they need to attend class.
Accommodation-related tables and chairs are clearly marked. If you see any marked furniture in areas outside of the classroom, contact studentaccessibility@ontariotechu.ca. Student Accessibility Services will make arrangements to move the furniture to the appropriate classroom.
