Faculty of Education launches TESOL program
The Faculty of Education (FEd) recently launched Durham Region’s first Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) diploma program.
This one-year program will prepare students to teach English in adult language classrooms, and will be accredited by the (TESL Ontario). Students who successfully complete the program will earn multiple credentials:
- From Â鶹´«Ã½ University:
- a TESOL diploma
- From TESL Ontario:
- an Ontario certificate in English Language Teaching
- an International certificate in Teaching English as an Additional Language
