The President's Equity Taskforce invites you to join guest speaker Adelle Blackett, Professor, Faculty of Law, McGill University for a discussion on her book, Everyday Transgressions: Domestic Workers’ Transnational Challenge to International Labour Law (Cornell University Press, 2019).
Professor Blackett will discuss the International Labour Organization's Decent Work for Domestic Workers' Convention No. 189, and its accompanying Recommendation No. 201, which created the first comprehensive international standards to extend protections and rights to domestic workers labouring in homes around the world.
