FSSH researcher attends high-level meeting at UN General Assembly
For the second year in a row, , PhD, Associate Teaching Professor, Faculty of Social Science and Humanities (FSSH), was invited to attend a special high-level meeting at the United Nations (UN) Headquarters in New York City during the UN General Assembly, which took place September 17 to 30.
The meeting, which included several heads of state and senior government ministers, addressed multidimensional measures of well-being/standard of living and their incorporation into national-level metrics of sustainable development goals.
While in New York, Dr. MacNeill also presented a paper on Indigenous culture and sustainable development during the International Conference on Sustainable Development, which took place September 24 to 25 at Columbia University’s Earth Institute.
