Discussion groups
- Let’s Talk Equity: Pride Space provides queer students the opportunity to discuss issues affecting queer identities based on their lived experiences.
- When: Weekly on Thursdays, through November 28, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
- Where: Energy Systems and Nuclear Science Research Centre (ERC), Room 1056
- Let’s Talk Equity: Racialized Students provides racialized students the opportunity to discuss issues affecting racialized communities based on their lived experiences.
- When: Last Wednesday of the month (October 30 and November 27) from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
- Where: ERC, Room 1056
No registration necessary; drop-ins welcome!
RISE workshops
Respecting Individuals and Supporting Equity (RISE) workshops provide training and education on bystander intervention skills to prevent and respond to discrimination and harassment.
- North Oshawa location: Tuesdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the ERC, Room 1056 (unless otherwise noted).
- Downtown Oshawa location: Wednesdays from noon to 2 p.m. in the 61 Charles Street Building, Room 219 (unless otherwise noted).
