2019 Purdue Pharma Canada Distinguished Lecture – September 25
On Wednesday, September 25, the university will welcome to campus for the 2019 Purdue Pharma Canada Distinguished Lecture.
Dr. Damha is a Chemistry Professor at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. He is a world-renowned researcher in a class of biomolecules called nucleic acids. He leads a research group that synthesizes and evaluates novel molecules as potential next generation therapeutics. He has authored more than 190 publications and filed/received several patents worldwide.
In his talk Synthesis and Applications of Nucleic Acid Analogues, Dr. Damha will discuss new chemical strategies to improving the properties of nucleic acids.
