CIBC supports new Employment Readiness Skills Program through $200,000 contribution
The Advancement office announces a $200,000 commitment from CIBC to support the launch of the Employment Readiness Skills program. This seven-week experiential, peer-to-peer support program will provide opportunities for students with disabilities to gain the necessary skills and confidence to effectively navigate the job search and interview process.
The funds will support curriculum creation, training and delivery of materials, and staffing (program administrator and peer mentors). Â鶹´«Ã½ University’s Career Centre and Student Accessibility Services will collaborate on program development.
