Lunchtime Mood Walk – June 26
The Office of Student Life invites faculty and staff to get moving, grounded and lifted by joining a lunchtime Mood Walk:
- When: Wednesday, June 26 from noon to 1 p.m.
- Where: Polonsky Commons, in front of the North Oshawa Library
is a province-wide initiative that promotes physical activity in nature, or ‘green exercise,’ as a way of improving physical and mental health at post-secondary institutions. Research shows spending time in nature benefits those at risk of experiencing mental health disabilities and helps people cope with the daily stresses of life. Engage with the campus community while benefitting from the healing effects of nature and physical activity!
