iLaunch My Career conference for students and alumni – June 20
On Thursday, June 20 the Career Centre will host iLaunch My Career, a one-day career conference to help Â鶹´«Ã½ students and alumni launch their careers after graduation.
Participants will:
- Learn practical work-readiness skills.
- Receive recruiting tips from employers.
- Hear from a keynote speaker about career pathways.
- Have professional LinkedIn photos taken.
Workshops include:
- Four Ways to Start a Conversation
- Get Your Resumé in the 'Yes' Pile
- Outwit, Outplay, Outlast: How to Survive and Thrive in Your Next Interview
- Seven LinkedIn Hacks to Make an Impact
- Tips for Managing Anxiety and Stress
When: Thursday, June 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Education Building, 11 Simcoe Street North (downtown Oshawa location)
