International Open Education Week at The Collaboratory continues through March 8
Open Education is an amazing and chaotic concept that challenges traditional notions of who creates knowledge, and who controls its dissemination in traditional, closed, and system-constrained methods of education.
With sponsorship from eCampus Ontario, the Teaching and Learning Centre will host three drop-in sessions at The Collaboratory (Campus Corners, Room 1100) during (Monday, March 4 through Friday, March 8) to discuss various aspects of open education. These sessions are available to any University of Ontario Institute of Technology community member; students, faculty and staff are welcome to join in during any times that work with their schedules.
The event will include light refreshments, swag and door prizes, provided by event sponsors eCampus Ontario.
