Provost and Vice-President, Academic search consultation and update
The process has begun to recruit a new Provost and Vice-President (VP), Academic. The university is searching for a professional who will work collaboratively to enhance the university’s bold vision and strategic priorities. The membership of the Search Committee, which is advisory to the President, was recently announced and is listed below. Boyden Executive Search (Boyden) was selected through a competitive process to support the Search Committee.
As part of this process, the Committee has developed a consultation plan that provides opportunities for all stakeholders, staff, faculty, students, alumni and the external community to share their input to aid in the creation of the candidate profile. This process will be rolled out through listening sessions, interviews and a confidential online survey. The consultations will run throughout November. The Committee members will participate and oversee all aspects of the consultation process.
Listening sessions were held at both the north and downtown campus locations on November 14. A confidential online is available to all stakeholders who were unable to attend these sessions or who wish to participate in an alternative way.
