First Contact - Indigenous education television series now available
The university has obtained streaming licenses for First Contact, a television series that follows six Canadians with racist attitudes toward Indigenous people on a month-long journey, where they learn about Indigenous culture, history and present-day communities.
This is a great tool to better understand Indigenous people and address unsympathetic attitudes expressed by many Canadians.
