Mindfulness Challenge 2018 – November 25

On Sunday, November 25, the university’s , in partnership with The Centre for Mindfulness Studies, will host a live stream of the Mindfulness Challenge 2018. The goal of this ‘meditate-athon’ fundraiser is to make mindfulness for mental health accessible to everyone.

This year’s theme is Resilient Self, Resilient Communities.

  • Learn how mindfulness can help you adapt to events in your life, bounce back from difficulty, and learn, grow and thrive.
  • Participate in a variety of guided mindfulness practices led by experts.
  • Raise funds for mindfulness therapy to help people living with mental health challenges.

This event is open to everyone—university faculty, staff, students and community members—even if you have never practised mindfulness or meditation!

  • When: Sunday, November 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (doors open at 9 a.m.)
