Candle Design Challenge

The Advancement office and the Office of Campus Infrastructure and Sustainability recently launched a Candle Design Challenge, open to all students at the university. Taking inspiration from the university’s sustainability initiatives, students will design an innovative candle mould that reflects the bold, optimistic perspective of the university’s new Brave The Future fundraising campaign.

The Brave The Future campaign focuses on developing the space and opportunities the university needs to deliver an educational experience that prepares students for the world they will create tomorrow.

The winning design will be developed into candles using wax from the Pollinator Project and sold on campus as a Brave The Future-branded promotional item. Proceeds will support the operation and growth of the Pollinator Project.

Please encourage students to learn more and enter the competition at .

The winning submission will be awarded $500 per team towards student tuition. The competition is open until Sunday, October 14 at 11:59 p.m.
