University partners with Ontario Shores to provide additional mental health supports for students on campus
The university has partnered with Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences to take part in an exciting new pilot initiative called the . The project aims to increase the availability of evidence-based psychological treatments for individuals with mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety in Ontario. Participating students can access individual and/or group cognitive behavioural therapy with a Registered Psychotherapist though a referral from Student Mental Health Services. Students must be at least 18 years old with mild to moderate anxiety and/or depression.
