Poster judges still needed for Student Research Showcase

The Office of the Vice-President Research, Innovation and International still needs a few more experts from the following faculties to judge posters for the  on Thursday, August 23:

  • Education
  • Engineering and Applied Science
  • Energy Systems and Nuclear Science
  • Health Sciences
  • Social Science and Humanities

If you are available that day, contact studentresearch@uoit.ca and provide your name and the top two faculties for which you feel best qualified to judge.

The annual Student Research Showcase brings the students together to present and discuss the research projects they have been working on with faculty supervisors throughout the year.

Not able to judge? You can still encourage the students you are supervising to participate in the showcase. It’s a great opportunity to learn about other research projects at the university and to network with industry representatives attending the showcase.

Note: All undergraduates who received an internal research award (NSERC, USRA or UOIT STAR) must participate in this event, and will have already received registration details.
