Next steps in performance and development cycle
It is time to start thinking about your performance goals and professional development plan for 2018-2019.
In April, the Human Resources (HR) department communicated changes to the university’s Staff Performance and Development program. The changes included an additional form to support the transition to the university’s online performance development tool.
The 2018-2019 performance and development cycle will include three main steps:
- Step 1: Goal-setting conversations (June to August 2018)
- Step 2: Check-in conversations (October and December 2018)
- Step 3: Annual performance and development conversations (February to March 2019)
HR introduced Step 3 as part of the annual review process (completed this past May). Steps 1 and 2 are new and closely align with the tasks built into the new online tool.
To access these forms and resources, visit the Performance and development cycle section of the HR website.
