Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre access on April 18

Construction will affect access to the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre (CRWC) and the adjacent Champions North parking lot Wednesday, April 18 from 6:30 a.m. until approximately 8:30 p.m. If it rains, this work may extend to Thursday, April 19.

Renovations to the Gordon Willey Building’s G Wing will involve the placement of a crane to the east of the CRWC north entrance. The crane will lift new equipment only over unoccupied space. There will be no crane lifting activity over the CRWC gyms, Campus Health Centre and pharmacy, which will all maintain regular business hours.

During this time, we strongly recommend CRWC visitors use the south entrance. Note: In the event of a fire alarm, please use normal designated emergency exits.

We encourage drivers to park in the Champions South Lot or Founders 2 Lot due to space restrictions in the Champions North lot. The CRWC north entrance will remain safely accessible; however, pedestrians may need to divert around the parking lot to use the north entrance.

  • Please refer to the (the orange rectangle represents the position of the crane jib. The onsite crew will direct pedestrians and vehicles as required).

Your co-operation and patience is appreciated.
