Reminder about on-campus parking violations
University faculty and staff (and campus visitors) are not permitted to park in designated fire routes, nor in Accessible Parking spots at the north Oshawa location without authorization, even for short periods. The same City of Oshawa by-laws apply on streets at the university’s downtown Oshawa location.
The City of Oshawa monitors university roadways with the same authority as municipal streets. City by-law inspectors will enforce regulations related to fire route and accessible spots on campus.
Anyone parking on campus should also remember that if the City tickets or tows a vehicle, the university is unable to ‘forgive’ the offence, as it is enforced by the City.
Pay-and-display parking areas at the north Oshawa location include:
- Champions South Lot
- Founders Lot 4 (south of the Campus Ice Centre)
- Commencement Lot Pay Station 1 and 2
- Founders Lot 2 Pay Station
Short-term parking is $5 per hour to a maximum of $14 per day. You can purchase day passes for $14.
