Registration open for Futures Forum: The Future of Energy and the Environment – May 2
Faculty, staff, students and community members can now register to attend the fourth-annual Futures Forum. This year’s event will focus on the future of energy and the environment within Durham Region and across Ontario.
Participants will:
- Explore how to build a sustainable city model that values fairness and equality.
- Evaluate energy technology solutions and learn about where they might take us in the near and distant future.
- Engage with panelists as they examine how institutions, corporations and individuals can lead the world’s efforts for sustainable cities.

Keynote speaker: Gina McCarthy, former U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator; Director, Center for Health and the Global Environment; and Professor, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health
