Lakeridge Health telephone town hall on future of health-care services – March 22
As part of its Master Planning process, Lakeridge Health seeks community input to help plan an acute care system to meet the needs of the community over the next 20 years and beyond.
To make it easy for residents of Durham Region to provide feedback, Lakeridge Health has organized a set of telephone town halls. More than 1,200 residents participated in the first telephone town hall in February, where they learned about hospital services, what master planning is, and why it is important. They also joined in the discussion through live polling and a question-and-answer session.
The next telephone town hall will take place Thursday March 22 from 7 to 7:45 p.m.. Lakeridge Health will randomly contact approximately 10,000 Durham Region to participate, but you can also register in advance to participate.
The hour-long event will feature Matthew Anderson, President and CEO, and Dr. Tony Stone, Chief of Staff, Lakeridge Health. Jerry Archer from KX96 will host the event
