Graduate students compete in Three Minute Thesis on March 20 and 21
How do you take an 80,000-word thesis and convert it into a three-minute presentation? Attend Three Minute Thesis (3MT) to find out!
3MT is a university-wide competition which graduate students present their research and its wider impact in three minutes or less to a panel of . This year, 20 of the university’s graduate students representing six faculties will be presenting their research.
Join the audience and watch our graduate students race the clock to win the top prize of $1,000 and their ticket to the provincial competition at York University.
All of our students who attend the finals will be entered in a draw for a $100 gift card.
University 3MT heats

- Tuesday, March 20:
- Heat 1: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Heat 2: 1:45 to 3 p.m.
University 3MT finals
- Wednesday, March 21 from 2 to 4 p.m.
All 3MT events will take place in the Business and Information Technology Building, Mezzanine (second floor).
