FEd researchers speak at event about the mental health benefits of growing up in rural areas

, Associate Teaching Professor, and Joel Cooper, teacher candidate in the university’s Faculty of Education (FEd), presented their research at a March 7 event entitled The Mental Health Benefits of Growing up Rural: Nature, Agriculture and Space. The event explored how growing up with nature, agriculture and rural living can benefit the mental health of children and youth.
