Advisory Committee on Student Sexual Violence Prevention and Support
The university has established a new Advisory Committee on Student Sexual Violence Prevention and Support Committee. The purpose of this committee is to provide guidance and support on the university’s efforts to oppose sexual violence among students on campus.

- Nadia Palarchio, Mental Health Counsellor
- Olivia Petrie, Assistant Vice-President, Student Life
- Miguel Salaices, Vice-President, Student Affairs, UOIT Student Union
- Nicole Suss, Academic Advisor, Faculty of Science
- Four University of Ontario Institute of Technology students
Scott Dempsey Manager, Engagement and Equity, Student Life, will support the committee.
