Girls Take Flight – April 21

On Saturday, April 21, The Ninety-Nines, an international organization of licensed women pilots, will host , a free aviation event for girls in Oshawa, Ontario.

Girls Take Flight encourages girls to take interest in aviation and aerospace by providing them with information from education specialists. This is especially important in light of the current pilot shortage the industry is faces. Participants will hear from inspiring female speakers who will immerse them in the world of aviation. Two hundred girls will also have a chance to go for a free flight (pre-registration required; opens Sunday, April 1).

  • What: Girls Take Flight, presented by The First Canadian Ninety-Nines and Durham Flight Centre
  • When: Saturday April 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Where: Enterprise Airlines, Oshawa Executive Airport, 1190 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa, Ontario.
