Care Pathways for Traffic Injury Management in Ontario conference – April 14 and 15

The university's Faculty of Health Sciences and the (CDPR) will co-host the Care Pathways for Traffic Injury Management in Ontario conference Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15 in Toronto, Ontario.

Speakers include Pierre Côté, PhD, Canada Research Chair in Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation, Associate Professor in the university’s Faculty of Health Sciences, and Director of the UOIT-CMCC CDPR, which strives to reduce disability through team research and knowledge exchange.

With the by the Ontario Minister of Finance and Attorney General, the province is moving ahead with implementation of Care Pathways for Traffic Injury Management.

Dr. Côté is among the UOIT-CMCC health-care professionals commissioned by the province who researched and wrote the Care Pathways for this initiative.

This conference is the perfect opportunity for medical, insurance or legal professionals to learn about the best available evidence on the management of common traffic injuries and its impact on their work and clients’ well-being.
