Upcoming Durham CAS foster parenting information sessions
There is an urgent need for foster homes in the Durham Region. (CAS) will host an information session on Wednesday, February 7 to tell people about the need and the process, and to dispel myths about fostering.
The goal of children’s aid societies is to work with families to keep children safe in their own homes. However, when there are serious concerns about the care a child or youth is receiving at home, foster parents and their families can provide a safe, stable and supportive temporary home environment.
At the information sessions, you will meet Durham CAS staff and learn how you can become a foster parent.
