FEAS to host Go CODE Girl – February 3
Do you have a daughter interested in coding? Are you interested in coding and would like to volunteer? Join the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science (FEAS) in providing an opportunity for girls in grades 7 to 11 to learn about the exciting world of coding and software development and discover opportunities in computing and engineering fields.
- When: February 3 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Where: Software and Informatics Research Centre
Technology, computing and engineering skills are in high demand. Go CODE Girl will help educate, inspire and equip girls with the digital skills, confidence and resources they need to pursue careers in these areas. Throughout the day, girls and their families will participate in hands-on activities that will give them a chance to explore the world of coding and see how they can use it in everyday life.
