ESGRREW 2018 Symposium: Addressing Climate Change: Technology, Law and Ethics – January 25

The university’s (FSSH) will host the Earth Systems Governance Representations of and Rights for the Environment Working Group (ESGRREW) Symposium on Thursday, January 25.

About the symposium

As we cope with climate change adaptation and geoengineering, we need legal, ethical and decolonized perspectives if we are to avoid the mistakes of the past and envision a sustainable future.

The ESGRREW Symposium will focus on the technological solutions proposed to address climate change, taking into account:

  • The November 2017 .
  • Traditional Indigenous Knowledge.
  • The concept of responsible innovation and its critique.

This event will precede the , which will take place at the university on Friday, January 26 and Saturday, January 27.
